How to Install & Use Syft for Slack
Get up and running in minutes with these simple steps
Install the Slack App
You'll need permissions to install Slack apps in your workspace. Go to the Integrations page and click the "Connect" button to get started.
Tip: You'll be presented with a screen to install the Syft Slack app in your workspace. Simply click "Allow" to proceed.
Configure Notifications
Enable and configure notifications by creating a motion. More details.
By default, you'll see a list of public channels and users that you can send alerts to.
Set Up Private Channels (Optional)
To send alerts to private channels, first add the Syft App to your channel from the channel setup page. Then you can select the channel from the list.
Note: You can send alerts to public channels, private channels, or direct messages to specific users.

Syft uses AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) to generate summaries, insights, and recommendations within Slack. AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading. Users should independently verify any AI-generated information before making business decisions. AI features are intended to assist human decision-making, not replace it.
